   first there is ALOT that gos into showing dogs!
   you might want to go to acouple of shows and talk to different breeders about showing dogs, like what you do, how much time you put into it, and what its like. Usually breeders are really honest.
   most dog show people are really snobby and dog shows are full of drama. ( from personal experience). they talk behind other people’s back about how one person’s dog is better than another. i’m just warning you.its really fun though, u just gotta egnore the snobby people. Also on showing dogs, its not like you just walk into the ring and run in circles and win pretty ribbons. there are months and months of show training that you must go through to get you and your dog ready to properly show. training the dog is not the hard part, its training yourself. its all about special tecniques and how YOU present the dog. its really about you ability to show a dog. it took me about 1 year to just learn the basics and thats just the basics of showing. i still am improving my tecniques every time i work my dog.
   just be warned that showing dogs is not as easy as it looks when ur watching the Eukanuba Turnament of Champions. those people showing those dogs have worked for months getting ready.if you still think showing dogs still sounds good, then you probably just want to go to some shows and just talk to breeders. also you want to look up some dog schools in your area that you can take showmanship and conformation classes at. also you might want to contact your breeder that you got your pup from and they could help you out or probably they know other people that show dogs that you could talk to.

   Anyway, I hope this helps! showing dogs can be hard, but it is SO fun and rewarding!
